There’s still time to buy tickets for The Lake Bluff History Museum’s Historic Christmas Home Tour on December 14—snap to it!
The Lake Bluff History Museum’s Historic Christmas Home Tour provides the perfect opportunity to see numerous historic homes, including the Lansdowne lakefront mansion that was designed by architect Benjamin Marshall and built in 1911 for the Harry Clow family. It is the first time the Lansdowne estate has participated in the tour and will be one of five homes decorated in spectacular holiday décor.
Proceeds from the tour help support the museum’s mission to bring Lake Bluff history life. In addition, they will also be collecting new toy donations for children and families impacted by the November 17 tornado in Washington, Illinois.
Tickets are $35 each, and the house tour begins at the museum (127 East Scranton Avenue, Lake Bluff) at 11 a.m. on December 14. For more information, visit christmaslakebluff.com.
