Luxury Condo Sales Launch at Medinah on the Lake

13_image2Foxford Communities has launched condominium sales at Medinah on the Lake in Bloomingdale, Ill. The community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units with new construction, luxury finishes, access to quality schools and extensive open space.

In the fall of 20 12, Foxford bought 72 of the 118 Medinah on the Lake condominiums, located at 125 Lakeview Drive, just north of Lake Street and east of Bloomingdale Road. Foxford completed the unfinished condos and updated the homes with modern luxury finishes. After the upgrades, Foxford rented the unsold condos with plans to convert them into sales once the market improved.

“When we looked at Medinah on the Lake, we saw a great opportunity that we didn’t want to miss,” said Peter Brennan, president of Foxford Communities. “We feel now is the perfect time to convert Medinah on the Lake back to its original intention, which was for-sale condominiums.”

Composed of two midrise buildings with brick-and-stone exteriors, Medinah on the Lake offers homes priced from $158,900 to $499,900, with approximately 1,067 to 2,140 square feet, one to three bedrooms, one to two-and-a-half baths and a den in select plans. Each horne includes luxury finishes like nine-foot ceilings, quartz or granite countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, a private balcony, sound deadening wall construction for privacy and a heated parking garage.

“Existing renters have been given first option to buy the condominium they are currently renting or select from any of the other condominiums for sale,” said Brennan. “Many renters have seized the chance to buy.”

Josephine Kaszniak, a renter for four years at Medinah on the Lake, is buying her 1,662-square-foot condominium, which has two bedrooms, two full baths and a den. “When the offer to buy my condominium was made available I jumped on it,” she said. “The location and setting does not compare to any other property…. I love the fact that it is tucked away from the hustle of everyday life with views of the forest preserve and Lake Medinah.”

Medinah on the Lake backs up to the Meacham Grove Forest Preserve, providing a serene, private setting with natural beauty and the opportunity to enjoy hiking, biking and cross-country skiing trails. Additionally, the two luxury condominium buildings sit beside Lake Medinah, where residents can enjoy their own private beach, complete with grills and a fire pit.
